Anniversary Trip

I can't wait for the long holidays around the corner and we are planning to go outside Riyadh during the break – it would be our anniversary’s trip to alKhobar @ the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia for 3 nites. Yayyy!!.  . We will continue the next day to Madinah al Munawwarah for our ziarah after our return to Riyadh. We are missing Kota Madinah now dan berharap agar kali ni dapat Mummy dan Kakak berada di pekarangan Raudhah untuk bersolat & berdoa. But Im still bendera merah, sempat ke ni?.. 
View along the causeway to Bahrain.. When will our trip to Qatar, Oman + Dubai ni Dy?. Ermmm.. interesting rite!!. 
Ni nampaknya nak kena prepare 2 bags ni sebab balik aja dari Al Khobar, kita akan terus ke Madinah the next day. Terasa penuh Eid holiday ni with the plan. Bila tengah dok nak siapkan the luggage ni, teringat pulak dulu Mummy siapkan luggage Daddy masa he with Oil & Gas company. He was packed with his schedule – managing HR for Malaysia & Brunei. Dengan meetings or trainings within the APAC Region. Pernah return from 1 country and rehat for 2 days; and went to another country. Dalam 1 minggu 2x tu selalu lah Mummy kena chauffeured him to KLIA. Bukanlah maksud... "kena", tapi lebih selesa kalau kita sendiri yang hantar... bukan dekat2 tempat. Bz sungguh Daddy masa tu and now kepenatan Daddy telah terbalas. Well done Abang!. We love u lah.  .

My Daily Routines

Time really flies, since coming here I feel like I really don't have enough time. Maybe, it is because I am managing the households on my own. At one time, I decided to hire a daily maid but we never proceed with it. It is more comfortable not have the maid compared to teach, direct, instruct someone else later; by the look of the common norms here...the output may not be as expected. Nak ajarin my kids pun tak abis dan sempat2 pung.  .
Haaa tu dia. Am I look so serious?????  . Masa ni kita nak hantar Umsiri balik. Haha, tengok tu penuh tekun saya nak pastikan dia tak ketinggalan pesawat. . Mungkin dengan muka inilah maka maid2 saya bertahan dgn saya. . Ingat lagi.. I warned her -"kalau awak tak rajin bertanya Um.., awak akan ketinggalan pesawat, ngerti?, saya tak boleh tolong awak di dalam. Saya hanya boleh ngantarin sampai di sini sahaja. Nanti kalau ketinggalan...awak bayarin sendiri ticket yang baru, bukan salah saya, paham. "He he. Bukan ape, kadang2 dgn diorg ni kita cakap kena jelas, tegas dan dgn kasih juga; otherwise they will think that everything is easy...not to worry, my employer is still around to help, mcm2 lah. Our last maid ni seorg yg buta huruf dan agak blur2, jadi kena explain dan takut2kan dia sikit..so that the blur akan berkurangan, seterusnya dia akan selamat sampai ke destinasinya. . Tapi bila pikir2 semula kesian kat dia, org yg amat susah. Apa2 pun she is one of the best house maids that we had. Pada I biarlah blur2 janji rajin, ikhlas, jujur, tak penipu, tak buat mulut, tak merayau, tak bertandang ke rumah2 org. Before Saliyena not bad too, Alhamdullilah. Ikut2 nasib la kita ini berurusan dgn mereka.
Panjang umur kita jumpa lagi. Masa ni pun masih dok risaukan dia lagi, sampai hubby naik marah kenapa nak pening kepala sangat pasal dia.. Isk, Tuhan saja tahu. Apa2 pun, dah selamat pun dia dan dia masih tidak bekerja. Punya la sayang kat dia, 2days before we flew Riyadh, barulah kita hantar dia balik.
My weekdays memang paling hectic. The morning starts with the kids + hubby having breakfast dulu.
Usually kalau Gif tak bangun pagi2 tu, dia akan bangun pukul 9.00am. Lepas warm up and had fun by dancing with his Barney Show thru the Jim/Jam channel; I akan terus prepare him for shower and continue with coloring or story telling for him.. sweet, fun & Grrrrggg!. Masa ni dia akan starts pot.. pettt, asking me so much repetative Qs. . Penat nak layan!.

Sadly...ada orang tanya tru YM + email, kerja u skg ni selain duduk depan PC, internet.. apa lagi? Only a person yang pernah duduk rumah will understand the hectic that we faced. But with the activities, time files really fast, without we sempat nak bertanya hal org. . Internet is no.2 or even 3 for me... not really important unless if I feel boring then I'll do blogging in my FP. My facebook, depends as I can't manage all tasks at the same time. Usually I'll open it when ada news dari moms di sini, potlucks or any moms activities. Even than my YM just on till it idles or offline by itself as no coverage. .
Lepas kids off to school I will sit on my table to watch Buletin Utama + WHI. After, start la memulakan houseworks. Tak teruk pun, rumah tak besar dan tak memerlukan masa yang lama utk kemas. Lepas dah siap kemas mesti nak prepare some quiz utk Aryssa + Akeef.
Later around 11 - 11.30am, no matter what I mesti masuk kitchen to prepare for the lunch as hubby will be coming home for lunch. His boss dah tau his daily routine of transporting the kids from 1.30pm to 2.30; thus he will take that time as his break. They do undertsand and so far, will avoid meetings at 200pm; unless tak boleh but hubby akan attend at later stage. For the lauk kenalah yang ada 3 jenis - vege, sambal, kuah. I'll feel good when seeing him returning to office with stomach full.
I took this opportunity to makan together and had short chit chat with hubby and later with the kids. Byk new and interesting stories from the kids...kadang tu tak sampai depan pintu pun dah start pot pettt - anak arab jahat la Mummy.. diorg no manners, rough, bullying me... he kicked me, I kicked him back and he pushed me, so I pushed him back la and didadidadiduuu... As long as there is no blood, no injury.. it should be fine then as that's normal for kids at school rite.
Ya Allah budak nih.. mcm mana jadi rock pakai t-shirt Mickey Mouse daa..?
Kalau girl, lain pulak cerita - " If kakak tie my hair like this kan My, tomorrow my friend yg from Canada tu will do the same and the one from London will follows too...". Sorry, she's using the origin of her friends to tell stories as I could not remember the names. So, she'll subsitute with the countries. Senang...macam kami di sini lah - Unta, PIB, Pinoy, Pareyy etc.. . So far, Aryssa is close with these two and by the way, excuse me - Aryssa dah ada slang okkk. Kalah mak dia tau. .
Urmmmm, ni lagi la.. nak melawa aja..
Lepas tu rehat and sambung homework at 3.30pm before menggaji at 5.30pm with Ustazah Hani @ 3x per week. Around 7pm Daddy balik and kita dinner sama2...rehat, pastu... pasni, pastu...pasni.. eh, penatlah nak pikir.
Makan bihun soup musim sojuk ni sodap.
All these on my own and by myself.

My Weekdays are My Weekends...

Semenjak duduk di Saudi ni, saya ada weekend ke? Hehee, everyday seems the same aja.
Yesterday, after completing my 2nd pedicure session, we went to Grananda Mall for a lunch. We tried having some fast foods but still we cannot accept them. After the mall... we went off to Dirah just want to survey the row of toy shops tapi tak jumpa and the place pun arghhh!. We turned back to Olaya St. and look some dates at the Kingdom Dates & Etihad Salehia.
Some photos in Spa, tapi tak boleh nak ambik gambar banyak2. Opsss, sori for my feet picture here...so sori ya!. Well, my feet yg dah start nampak lesu.. 3bulan tak buat treatment. So inilah the one stop spa - 1130's the name ~ pedicure, manicure, hair cut, hair treatment, body massage, slimming, etc for ladies only. Tapi, untuk pedicure tak la memuaskan hati...tak sama dengan yang I always buat di Subang Parade dan kat sini tak der pun scrub sampai lutut. Dia buat scrub pun gitu2 aja, she soak my foot pun kejap sangat tak sampai 10min, ntah apa yang dia nak kejar pun tak tahu lah...and bla bla blahhh lah. Even masa nak remove cuticle by using the cuticle stick pun, gitu2 aja.. Ke am too fussy?? ke... I dah start homesick??ermm. Dan lagi, Pinoy tu buffing my nail tak berkilat sangat + tak rata pun... dan lagiiiiiiiiiii I have no choice kan...HUH!.  .

Remembered about the Mee Kuning and called Kak Zuriah. My luck was there as she got some stocks for us, Kak Zue kata,"Gee ni aja yang selalu last minutes order!!.." . Lepas ambil mee kuning kat rumah Kak Zu, we went to Hyper Panda to buy some veges + few things for our 1 week stock. We reached home at almost 10pm...dengan muka masing2 yang sungguh penat + penatnyer!!!...
Hari ini, kita tak kemana-mana, Daddy ada task nak submit to Alinma for the staff new propose benefit... apa2 pun Mummy wish U Dy all the best on your project. Nanti dah approved semua benefit, minta skit leh?.. .
Mummy close the weekend with this yummy delicious Spaghetti Bolognese for breakfast + our tea time with Bubur Jagung sambil dihirup dengan mint tea di musim pre-winter ini. Hmmmm, best!. Dinner? tak pikir lagi.... sekarang, jom kita makan!.
 
Dah kenyang, kita rehat la ye sayang...

Our big day. This photo was from hubby side - double wedding. Mine, tak ada softcopy at the moment and the photos are kept back home. Ermm....., its was sweet memories and nostalgic. When I see you now, you are such a beautiful lady that time and is today. . We shared the same anniversary month, only the date differs. Yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary at Tony Romas, Thaleea St. It is just nearby to our house so that the kids can be home within bedtime as tomorrow is school day.
Ermm, its really kecoh, fun, bising sungguh semalam. Actually, we never had an experience to have our anniversary dinner with only the 2 of us... Mana taknya, after 1 month of marriage I pun pregnant.. subur la katakan ye... . Lepas dah ada baby, nak tinggalkan diaorang, pastu kita yang sedap2 makan macam tak complete dan sampai hati pulak. So, our dinner in the 12th years, memacam behavior ada - baby crying, the kidz laughing, the kids bergaduh cubit2, merajukla yang sorang...dan yang control cun pun dah ado ni haaaa...hahahahaha! tambahan skg semua nak menyelit kat maknya aja...ye la ye, I'm a home minister nowdays.. .

Ada yang suka buat macam2 ujikaji bumi. Kalau white pepper mixed dengan black pepper jadi pepper apa my?? Jadi Penampau lerr...nak??
Ada yang nak jadi Hanna Montana aka Miley Cyrus.. . Ermmm, apa2 pun you all la penawar untuk kami terus hidup.. and I'm proud of you, kids.
We had these for the dinner. The cholestrol is a bit too strong lah..huhh!. I had few bites and I can feel the shot on my head!. Dangerous. Its not a healthy food tho.. but its yummy!. How laaaaaaaa......

Kalau kat Malaysia ni, siang2 lagi Mummy dah prepare to buy the cake, book table, check menu, tanya ada service untuk diorg sing a song tak...and bla bla bla. pastu, suka tengok muka Daddy yang bertukar jadi merah..malu.. . So, as an alternative, this is our 12th years cake ok...its toooooo sweet! and we tak sukaaaaa.
Apple Crisp La'.... ntah apa ntah. Tak ingat nama dia.
Ermmm, since they know that we are celebrating our 12th anniversary, the kids pun dapat ler ballon sorang satu...but now kesemua ballon telah menjadi milik Gif 100%. And since they can't write the wording in the dessert they wrote it on the bill. Hahhh!!. cool.. boleh la tu....dari tak abis2 nak layan Mummy budak2 3org yang fussy ni.. BTW, waiter ni sedara Hannah Montana ker?
Ok, kita pose sikit satu family...
We are going off now... The foods are similar or even better than the Tony Romas at the Curve. Bye bye...nanti kita datang lagi bila2 rasa nak shotkan kepala.

Visiting D' Camels!

Balik saja dari beli groceries, Daddy asked us whether we want to go to camel's farm as some of the friends planned to go. Wow, this is a good one rite?? Something different compared with the usual shopping malls + coffee.. . Since Akeef + Azeef pun dah agak sihat so, Mummy quickly prepared our lunch as after Asar we are off to Malaz untuk berkumpul.

Kita convoy ramai2... kalau nak pergi sendiri ke tempat2 macam ini, memang la tak berani dan tak fun kan.. Sampai aja, rupanya it's not a farm but is just like a stop ditepi jalan where they sell susu unta directly taken from the camels. That's cool..
We just arrived..
This is indeed a good experience for the kids and even for me + hubby. I think I prefer this place compared visiting the farm itself. Kurang sikit bau busuk unta nih.. and futhermore tepi jalan, kita pun tak la takut sangat..

Homemade Mushroom Soup

Thank you to Niza Baron in UK for the delicious healty receipe!. After 2nd trial, YES! I made it.
What else can Mummy do.....cook, cook and cook. This is the only job and the skill that I think I can improve. The foods that are good and acceptable for us while staying here, are the ones that we cooked. So here we go...
After this I won't buy the canned mushroom soup.. as it's not our taste anymore.
Tadaaaa...
Sorry terlambat nak post resepi, ana terlupa la.. 
Mushroom soup
Bahan-bahannya
Bawang besar
Bawang putih
Celery 2 stick
Potato 1 - 2 biji ~ Ikut byk mana nak buatkan dia pekat + lemak2
Carrot 2 - 3 batang
Mushroom ~ button or any mushroom u like
Salt & black + white pepper ~ Agak2, jangan terbanyak.. takut terpedas, tak sedap
Creame Fraiche (optional) I letak, lagi sedapp oooo..
Cara
1. Saute' bawang besar & putih serta celery sehingga layu & naik bau
2. masukkan potato & carrot seketika
3. kemudian masukkan mushroom.. gaul kan sehingga masak & berair serta naik bau
4. Masukkan air ikut byk mana nak buat soup
5. Slow kan api, biar kan mendidih & merenih hingga kentang empuk, tutup periuk (kacau sekali sekala)
6. Apabila sudah masak letakkan salt & peppers secukup rasa
7. Blend kesemuanya
8. Slice beberapa mushroom kemudian masakkan sedikit bersama2 dengan soup yang telah di blend tadi
9. Bila nak makan tu masukkan dlm mangkuk sup & letak sikit dlm sesudu kecil creame fraiche diatas.

Roti Jala

Kita dah ada tempat menjala nanti weekend nak try buat Roti Jala. Thanks so much Zuhra. nanti kalau jadi roti jala yang cantik2 rupanya baru sampai di rumah Zuhra k... selagi tak cantik + tak sedap, lama la kot dia nak sampai...atau mungkin pas pas you balik dari Malaya...
Yummy! cucur sayur.. memang superlicious sedap macam beli kat kedai kelantan sek13, Shah Alam. Nak resepi ni la nanti..

Hi...I'm Chef Aryssa Aryanna, let's prepare a dish with me today.... "Nak jadi Chef la pulak... aritu cakap nak jadi Hannah Montana..''
1st ~ arrange the lettuces accordingly depending on your likes, but for my plate just keep it to the minimal as I dont like to eat it...
2nd ~ fry the sausages with butter.
3rd ~ and then fry the egg - telur dadar type, buat love shape sikit kat situ.
4th ~ Wrap the sausages with the fried egg...
5th ~ Taadaaaaaaa... done! Simple rite..?
Mummy makan toast, green apple + honey aja ok...
All the ingredients, prepared by my mom... Heeee. The end.
She had asked me to prepare the western dinner tonite berangan nak jadi chef...actually dia tak nak makan nasi, dah jemu katanya, since I have yet to prepare the dinner I just guided her. Its really fun! tapi renyah layan budak ni...3 bulan lagi baru suh dia masuk dapur...tengok tu, pegang telur nak balut tu pun hujung2 jari... auuwwwwwww! macam la kotor jari tu semua. Tapi kata nak masak.
Yayyy!! Daddy's back...kids are so happy. Daddy macam biasa, sentiasa balik lambat... in Saudi 7pm dah consider too late. Tengok tukang masak tu.. leka betul. Takut esok leh naik 500. Nanti bole share lens dengan Daddy.
Lets eat!.

Happy sangat, 2 hari yang lepas kita dapat jumpa Atuk + Uwan. Cyber talk pun takperlah...delayed communication pun tak apa lah... kan?? tak kisah la tu semua janji dapat tengok live wajah orang2 yang Mummy sayang...
Tengok tu Daddy...jam dah pukul 3pm pun masih kat rumah tak pegi office lagi.. isk, isk, isk... leka betul tu.
Atuk ada cakap, Mummy kurus sikit..  dan Daddy dah naik sikit...bagus agaknya kat sana. Hehehh, Atuk memang macam tu, dari dulu sampai sekarang memang tidak akan lekang ingatkan Mummy supaya jangan gemuk2. Tapi Bah, kalau nanti gomok jugak macam mana???
Atuk + Uwan visited Pakcik in Perlis last weekend. Sebelum ni, Mummy dengan Aunty Liz la yang selalu berborak dalam YM, selain dari cousin Mummy Aunty Rin + a few friends. Early last week Aunty Liz cakap Atuk nak mai umah di Perlis...wahhhh!!! punya la Mummy happy! sebab nanti dapat tengok Abah, Umi, Aman live. Alhamdullilah inilah hasilnya... Mmmm, patut la mata ni berkedip2 rupanya nak tengok orang jauh..
Aakk, Abg Naz nak ucapkan many many thanks soooo much to you Liz, Faizal tolong jadi typist la pulak... . Nape yekk, kami tak leh dengar suara you all.. rugi2. Tapi walau apa pun, sungguh happy, sayu, sedih, happy balik and all mixed feeling!!!.. Muahhhh!.

Ready for Winter??

Kids..... are you ready for winter?? Hehehhh why should Mummy asked you guys. Mummy or even Daddy also do not know how's the winter like in Saudi. Mostly...we knew from the senior residences here. But we cant wait for the experience as before this we never knew that Saudi has this season. Cannot imagine the situation should the temperature reaches below -ve Celcius. Even now, dah terasa the cold breeze and the nights become longer. 5pm dah kira senja and based on previous time, there will come a time where Maghrib masuk pukul 4:55pm.
Anyway, for the coming month, we don't have plan to go anywhere yet...as we just do some preparation for the winter. Belilah jackets and long johns later. Rugi rasanyer tak beli kat Bandung dulu. Gap's brand pun from Indonesia. Anyway, our plan nak pergi Umrah end of this week kena postpone as entry to Kota Mekah dah ketat. Police dah starts monitor the checkpoints sebab tak nak orang bermalam sehingga musimh Haji. Insya-Allah, bulan December nanti kami kembali ke sana. Semoga kita semua di berikan kesihatan yang baik. Amin.
Further this month is our 12th years wedding anniversary...another celebration outside Malaysia.

Should I.. or 'should'nt? ermm... The final say would be my hubby... if he think yes.. I'll grab it, if he say no.. nx time then next time lorrr..
Haa, kan cantik tu senyum.. . Itu statement dari my hubby ok....itu pun lepas dia buat kelakar... baru la ceria...
